Hoops4Him is a citywide basketball league designed to be used as a tool by local churches to reach out to the youth of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County, NC with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Hoops4Him is part of a much bigger vision for our city that is being lived out in part through 614 Restoration, Inc.

614 Restoration, Inc. was birthed through the prayers of youth pastors and other passionate followers of Jesus Christ in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County, NC and is rooted in the promise of Isaiah 61:4...
"They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated;
they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations."
The mission of 614 Restoration is to inspire and equip this generation of young people to be the leaders and the catalysts of a citywide move of God that will bring to life the promise of restoration found in Isaiah 61:4. In order for this vision to become a reality, we believe there are four critical components...
- Connect...students in Christ-centered community
- Redirect...students to the greatness of God and His purpose for their lives
- Disciple...students to be authentic followers of Christ
- Deploy...students into the ruined and devastated places in our city
All4Him...
All4Him is the component of 614 Restoration designed to connect students in our city across geographic, cultural, racial, social, and economic barriers through Christ-centered community-building initiatives. All4Him utilizes sports and other recreational activities as the primary tools to accomplish this goal. This is where Hoops4Him fits in! Last year, Hoops4Him had over 750 participants from 20 different churches representing 7 denominations. All4Him also plans to offer other sports opportunities such as Hits4Him (softball) and Digs4Him (volleyball). In addition to these sports leagues, which last anywhere from 6-12 weeks, students also have the opportunity to participate in a Community Sports Club (CSC) which consists of a weekly gathering of students for sports/recreational activities as well as the opportunity for them to...
- play on a CSC-sponsored basketball team in the Hoops4Him citywide basketball league
- participate in special outings/trips such as hiking, whitewater rafting, etc.
- participate in a 4Real group
- connect with a mentor
Currently there are two CSCs...
meets every Wednesday from 6:30-8:30pm at
Griffith High Shool Gymnasium. This CSC is a partnership between All4Him, First Alliance Church, and several men who are passionate about impacting the lives of young men in our city.
Piedmont CSC meets every Wednesday from 6:30-8:30pm at Piedmont Bible College Gymnasium. This CSC is a partnership between All4Him, GreenTree Baptist Church, and several men who are passionate about impacting the lives of young men in our city.
We are in the process of establishing additional CSCs in other parts of our city as God provides opportunity. Stay tuned!
