We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of our policies and procedures in the event of inclement weather. In the event of a weather forecast that calls for potentially inclement weather on game day, the League Director will pay close attention to weather developments through the various local television stations and also by calling the various Divisions Supervisors regarding conditions near their gym locations.
A decision concerning whether or not to play will be made no later than 7:00am on game day. If the decision is made to cancel play it will be communicated four ways: (1) a Hoops News item will be posted immediately on the Hoops4Him website, (2) WXII News Channel 12 will be contacted with the closing/delay information, (3) a 'tweet' will be sent via Twitter, and (4) a status update will be made on Facebook. If you do not see any announcement through one or more of these communication channels by 7:15am, then you should assume that games will be played.
